Pierre Cardin , (1922 - )
French shape designer, born in Venice, NE Italy. After operation during World War 2 for a change in Vichy, he went to Paris in 1944. He worked in institute houses and on costume design, excessively for Cocteau's film Beauty and the Beast (1947).
